3D Printing, as a technology has been around for quite a while. However, with the plunge in the cost of equipment a whole new world of possibilities have opened up. In this post we will look at 3D Printing 101, briefly what other nations are doing in this field and we pose a question here. Does Malaysia have a plan to be involved in this evolution ?
The premise is quite simple. We do not have to wait for the answer to become crystal clear before we start embarking on it. Game Changer or not - we need to get our feet in the door or we will suffer the consequences if this indeed becomes a game changer and we left behind to do catch up. If it does not become a game changer - so be it. We are not any lesser poorer as a result. This isn't a multi-billion ringgit venture for us to fret about should it not take off.
